Andrew Gaines has been performing since the age of 8, when his mother enrolled him in improv classes to channel all his classroom clowning into something more "appropriate." It worke!. Andrew has enjoyed the world of stage, film, television, writing, and directing. He went to NYU's Tisch School of the Arts undergrad, and eventually returned to NYU to get a Master's in Drama Therapy. Mr. Gaines is a NY State Licensed Creative Arts Therapist and Registered Drama Therapist working with patients at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn where he has co-created over 300 video learning projects. He frequently facilitates lectures and workshops throughout the country, and teaches therapeutic videography at NYU for the past 6 years. His mother continues to feel relieved that she "must have done something right."
