Maestro Puppeteer

David Schechter appeared on Broadway in the musicals RUNAWAYS and THE 3PENNY OPERA (starring Sting). He has also been seen on TV in LAW & ORDER, as a puppeteer on Nickelodeon and in MADONNA'S 'Bad Girl' video.

He has written and directed numerous shows for young audiences including THE JUNGLE BOOK (co-written with Starmite's Barry Keating) at Broadway's New Victory Theatre, and SUNDIATA, THE LION KING OF MALI and PETER PAN, both for TheatreworksUSA.

He gets no greater joy than performing for and engaging with groups of kids during his Starmite Puppet Shows.
